Nominations Committee Member

RESPONSIBLE AND REPORTS TO: President and Nominations Committee Chair

TERM OF OFFICE: Two year, maximum of two consecutive terms.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

A. Assist the Nominations Chair with all duties of the committee.

B. Attend all meetings of the Nominations Committee.

C. Maintain the confidentiality of the committee files.

D. Adhere to the Bylaws and General Operating Policies of this Society.

E. Assist with the preparation and submission of committee reports.

F.  Attend ASCLS-MI Board Meetings and ASCLS-MI Annual Membership Meeting, if possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work closely with the Nominations Chair to:

A. Prepare a valid ballot of candidates.

B. Distribution, collection and processing of returned ballots.

C. Preparation of election related reports.

2. Transfer files to newly elected Nominations Chair-Elect.
