Government Affairs Committee, Chair-Elect

RESPONSIBLE AND REPORTS TO: President and Government Affairs Committee Chair

TERM OF OFFICE: Two year term, first year as Chair-Elect, second year as Chair

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

A. At the direction of the President, assume the position of Government Affairs Committee Chair.

B. Assist the Government Affairs Chair with all duties of the committee.

C. Actively prepare for the position as Government Affairs Committee Chair in the second year of term.

D. Attend all Government Affairs Committee meetings.

E. Adhere to the Bylaws and General Operating Policies of this Society.

F. Assist with the preparation and submission of committee reports.

G. Attend all ASCLS-MI Board Meetings and ASCLS-MI Annual Membership Meeting.  

H. Adhere to the Bylaws and General Operating Policies of this Society.

Grassroots Coordinator

ASCLS-MI PAC Chair

Two Members-at-large elected by the ASCLS-MI membership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work closely with the Government Affairs Committee Chair to perform the duties of the committee.

2. Transfer files to newly elected Government Affairs Committee Chair-Elect.
